Happy Birthday New Me
My "New Year" always starts on my birthday.
I think I started this practice a few years back when my resolution was to eat healthier,
which I failed at immediately on January 1st because I was hungover and needed a greasy burger.
So, January 2nd it is.
New year, New age, New me.
The start of a new calendar year always holds such promise, doesn't it?
I've found myself reflecting on where I was a year ago to where I am today,
and it's exciting to think about the possibilities that await me in the coming year.

Resolutions are not for me...I have no self control haha! I do try and make changes though. I completed my 2012 blog recap yesterday. In 2013 I am looking forward to a year which is hopefully filled with more happiness and health than last year. I wish you all the success and happiness too after having a few rough moments the year gone too.

ReplyDeleteI feel like January 1st is still a holiday, so no goals should be started on that day ;) Jan 2nd is a great option! I'm in the middle of the Insanity workouts and hoping to finish the entire 60 day program by mid-Feb! I'm also looking forward to vacation in April, and my brother-in-law's wedding in May :)

Well, happy birthday then, girlfriend! I like the new style - very "new year"! This year, I am especially looking forward to knocking my first marathon off the bucket list and a 4 week round trip through Namibia with my family! I am cautious with any resolutions or major goals, I don't want to be my own disappointment haha. Good luck with all you wish and hope for this year! xo
