Are You Bloglovin'?

One of my favorite things to do while TJ is away on a roadtrip is comfy myself up on the couch with a big cup of coffee or a glass of wine and scan through the blogosphere for creative inspiration.

Yesterday I happened to stumble upon an old favorite blog of mine, and I thought to myself "Wow, I haven't visited this blog in at least a year!" The reason? The blog author had switched from Blogger.com to a self hosted website, and the feed never transferred over on my Blogger dashboard.

Sometimes, keeping track of all of my favorite blogs can be difficult,
but luckily I finally found a solution last night:

While I've been a member of the Bloglovin' community for the past two years,
I've never actually utilized it appropriately.

Basically, Bloglovin' is one of the easiest ways to follow all of your favorite blogs - whether they are hosted on Blogger, WordPress, Tumblr, etc. - all in a sort of Facebook feed fashion. You will never have to risk the chance of losing your favorite blogger's web address, open up ten windows in your browser at once, or bookmark another blog again.

A snapshot of Bloglovin', provided by Nutritionella:

My three favorite aspects of Bloglovin' are:

1. You can neatly categorize your favorite blogs based on a specific topic
(example: Fashion, Lifestyle, Fitness, Food, Design, DIY, etc).

2. The site has an iPhone app so that you can read your favorite blogs on-the-go.

3. Bloglovin' also suggests similar blogs for you to follow based on your current blog list,
so that you can easily find new favorites.

I really wish that I actually started to utilize Bloglovin' years ago,
because it's such a wonderful convenience to have all of my favorite blogs in one place.
(Hello, time saver!)

Do you use Bloglovin'?

  1. I've been using Bloglovin' for over a year. I love it! I still follow through GFC as well because I know people like to see their number grow, but I always read through Bloglovin'.

  3. I love bloglovin. As a non-blogger blog, it's really awesome. :) I love that there is an app for it now, too! It's really the best!

  6. I'm horrible at staying up-to-date with and commenting on my favorite blogs. I'm in the process of adding my fave blogs to Bloglovin' right now!

  7. I'm so so so happy that you did this! I spent the whole night last night transferring everything from my Google Reader to my Bloglovin account and it's far more organizaed! Thanks for sharing! I have had Bloglovin for a while but never really bothered to learn it until now!

  8. I use it and love it! Bar the fact on a couple blogs I love, it doesn't pull their new posts through. On the whole however, couldn't do without it :)
